1. Xining to Lhasa

There are typically 1–2 trains per day from Xining to Lhasa. All trains to Lhasa pass through Xining, but only two trains go directly from Xining to Lhasa. We can book these two direct trains for you:

• Train Z8991: Departs Xining at 9:50 PM, arrives in Lhasa at 6:26 PM the following day.

2. Chengdu to Lhasa
✅ Frequency:
The Chengdu–Lhasa train departs once every two days, on odd-numbered or even number
🔹 Popular Train Options:
• Train Train Number: Usually Z322: Departs Chengdu at 21:37 PM, Arrival in Lhasa: Around 7:30 AM on the 3rd day
Total Distance: Approximately 3,070 km (1,900 miles)

Approximately 36–40 hours,(1.5 to almost 2 full days)
