    •    The official Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival for 2026 is expected to run from March 25 – April 5, featuring ceremonies and cultural show. The best time to see the peach blossoms in Nyingchi County is actually from early April to late April, when the flowers reach their peak along the river valleys.

✈️ Important Tour Start Condition – Arrival in Nyingchi

To join this tour, the first requirement is:

🔸 You must arrive in Nyingchi by air on the official start day of the tour.

The arrival time listed in the itinerary (e.g., 10:30 a.m.) marks the official start of the tour.

    •    Your Tibetan guide and fellow travelers will meet you at Nyingchi Mainling Airport.

    •    If you arrive after the official start time, you may miss part or all of Day 1 activities.

    •    Arriving one day early is possible and recommended during peak season.

Airport pickup is provided as long as you land on the same day as the group departure.

✈️ Day 1 – Arrival in Nyingchi & Group Assembly Altitude: 3,000 m Distance: Airport → Nyingchi City: 50 km / 1 hr Arrive at Nyingchi Mainling Airport, meet your Tibetan guide, and join your fellow group members. Transfer to Nyingchi City to rest and acclimatize. Overnight in Nyingchi.

🌸 Day 2 – Nyingchi → Gala Peach Blossom Village → Sejila Mountain → Bomi Altitude: Nyingchi: 3,000 m •SeKem la Pass: 4,728 m •Bomi: 2,700 m Distance: 235 km / 5–6 hrs •Gala Peach Blossom Village: Walk among vibrant peach blossoms set against snowy peaks. •Sejila Mountain Pass (4,728 m): A breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon. On clear days, see the majestic Namcha Barwa Peak (7,782 m). •Drive through river valleys, forests, and snow-capped mountains toward Bomi. Overnight in Bomi.

🏔 Day 3 – Bomi → Laigu Glacier → Huakai Village → Guxiang Lake → Bomi Altitude: 2,700–3,000 m Distance: 160 km round trip / 4–5 hrs •Laigu Glacier: One of Tibet’s most beautiful and photogenic glaciers. •Huakai Village: A traditional Tibetan village with wooden houses and terraced fields. •Guxiang Lake: A serene alpine lake with mirror-like reflections of snow mountains. Return to Bomi. Overnight in Bomi.

🌲 Day 4 – Bomi → Lulang Forest → Bayi Town → Zhuoxincuo Lake → Sejila Pass → Jieba Village Altitude: •Bomi: 2,700 m •Sejila Pass: 4,728 m •Jieba Village: 3,200 m Distance: 260 km / 6–7 hrs •Lulang Forest: Known as the “Swiss Alps of Tibet,” featuring spruce forests, yak meadows, and alpine vistas. •Bayi Town: Stop for refreshments. •Zhuoxincuo Lake: A turquoise sacred lake surrounded by mountains. •Cross Sejila Pass again for another chance to see Namcha Barwa. •Continue to charming Jieba Village, known for its tranquility. Overnight in Jieba Village. Near the Draksum Tso lake

🏞 Day 5 – Jieba Village → Basongcuo Lake → Lhasa Altitude: •Jieba: 3,200 m •Basongcuo: 3,460 m •Lhasa: 3,650 m Distance: 360 km / 7–8 hrs •Basongcuo Lake: One of eastern Tibet’s most stunning alpine lakes. •Tsozong Gongba Monastery: Located on a small island in the lake. •Drubshi Village Visit: Enjoy butter tea, homemade barley beer, and experience rural Tibetan life. •Drive along river valleys toward Lhasa. 🏔 Day 7 – Lhasa → Yamdrok Lake → Gyantse → Shigatse Altitude: •Lhasa: 3,650 m •Gambala Pass: 4,790 m •Shigatse: 3,900 m Distance: 350 km / 8–9 hrs •Yamdrok Lake: One of Tibet’s three sacred lakes, viewed from Gambala Pass. •Visit a local village for a traditional lunch. •Karola Glacier (5,100 m): A dramatic roadside glacier. •Gyantse: Famous for its ancient architecture and barley fields. Continue to Shigatse. Overnight in Shigatse.

🏔 Day 8 – Shigatse → Gyatsola Pass → Gawula Pass → Everest Base Camp Altitude: •Gyatsola Pass: 5,280 m •Gawula Pass: 5,198 m •EBC: 5,200 m Distance: 340 km / 7–8 hrs •Gyatsola Pass: First view of Everest and the Himalayas. •Gawula Pass: One of the best viewpoints for the Himalayan range—see up to five 8000m peaks. •Everest Base Camp: Enjoy the stunning sunset over Everest’s north face. Overnight at EBC Monastery Hotel or Tent Guesthouse.

🕍 Day 9 – EBC → Rongbuk Monastery → Shigatse Altitude: •Rongbuk: 5,154 m •Shigatse: 3,900 m Distance: 340 km / 7 hrs •Rongbuk Monastery: The highest monastery in the world. •View Mount Lhotse (8,516 m) and EBC wetlands. •Tashilhunpo Monastery: Seat of the Panchen Lama and home to the massive Maitreya Buddha statue. •Evening: Enjoy a Tibetan dinner with traditional song and dance. Overnight in Shigatse.

🏞 Day 10 – Shigatse → Nyemo → Lhasa Altitude: 3,900 m → 3,650 m Distance: 280 km / 5–6 hrs Travel back to Lhasa along the Yarlung Tsangpo River, the “Mother River of Tibet,” passing through pastoral landscapes and traditional villages. Overnight in Lhasa.
