This 7-day journey offers an epic adventure across the heart of Tibet, blending sacred culture and raw Himalayan beauty. Starting in Lhasa, you will explore the iconic Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and lively Barkhor Street. From there, cross the high passes and turquoise lakes of the plateau to reach Gyantse and Shigatse, two cities rich in Tibetan history.

Arrival in Lhasa (3650m) Meet your guide at the airport or train station. On the way to Lhasa (70km/1.5h from airport; 25km/30min from train station), enjoy views of the Yarlung Tsangpo and Lhasa Rivers. Rest for acclimatization or explore Potala Square in the evening. Overnight Lhasa
Lhasa City Tour: Visit the Potala Palace, winter home of the Dalai Lamas, and admire ancient treasures. Explore the sacred Jokhang Temple and join pilgrims on Barkhor Street. Optional: visit Tibetan art centers or enjoy a cultural show. Overnight Lhasa
Monasteries of Lhasa: Tour Drepung Monastery, once the largest monastery in Tibet, and witness traditional carving workshops. In the afternoon, visit Sera Monastery and watch the lively monks’ debate. Overnight Lhasa
Lhasa – Gyantse – Shigatse (3900m) Drive across the Gampala Pass (4790m) with a panoramic view of Yamdrok Lake (4400m) and Mt. Nyenchen Khangsar (7191m). Visit the Pelkor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa in Gyantse. Continue to Shigatse. Distance: ~360km / 7–8h Overnight Shigatse
Shigatse – Everest Base Camp (5200m) Visit Tashilunpo Monastery, then drive through Himalayan valleys, crossing Gawula Pass (5198m) to reach Everest Base Camp. If weather allows, enjoy the sunset over Mt. Everest. Overnight at Rongbuk Monastery guesthouse. Distance: ~350km / 8–9h Overnight Rongbuk Monastery Hotel or Tent Guesthouse
EBC – Kyirong (2800m) Catch sunrise at Everest, visit Rongbuk Monastery, and hike to EBC. Then drive to Kyirong, passing Mt. Shishapangma and Pekutso Lake, and crossing Ghungtang Lhamo Pass (5236m). Distance: ~370km / 8–9h Overnight Kyirong Town
Exit Tibet into Nepal: Your guide will assist with Chinese customs at Kyirong (Gyirong ) border. End of service. (Optional transfer to Kathmandu available.)

If you require assistance with the visa application process, feel free to contact us for guidance. 2.International Flights – Airfare to and from China or Nepal is not covered. 3.Travel to/from Tibet – Flight or train tickets into or out of Tibet are excluded. If you need help with booking, we’re happy to assist upon request. 4.Single Room Supplement – Tour pricing is based on double occupancy (twin-sharing rooms). If you prefer a private room or room-sharing is unavailable, an additional supplement applies. Please consult your travel advisor for exact rates. 5.Meals Outside Itinerary – Lunch and dinner while in cities, as well as all meals outside of Lhasa and Shigatse, are at your own expense. 6.Tips & Gratuities – Tips for the guide and driver are not included. We suggest budgeting around $7 USD per person per day for both, based on the quality of service received. 7.Force Majeure & Emergencies – Any extra costs due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, traffic restrictions, lost items, visa or flight delays/cancellations, travel insurance, medical treatment, etc.) are not covered. 8.Personal Expenses – Items of a personal nature such as laundry, souvenirs, phone usage, and similar are not included.
